Once you finalize the selection of products and send to us, we send you the Proforma Invoice with complete order details along with volume and weight of your shipment. This helps you to plan your shipment in a better way for the Sea or Air shipment modes.

PLACEMENT OF ORDER, PAYMENT AND PRODUCTION SYSTEM

Once you select your products and send the Order, we will send a Proforma Invoice to you. The Proforma Invoice (P.I) is the basic contract of our business and includes all vital details about your shipment like complete description of goods, price, payment and delivery terms, volume and weight of the shipment and production lead time etc. Once you return the PI to us with your signature and company stamp, we accept it as the Final Confirmed Order. Payment is processed as per the terms laid down in the Proforma Invoice and the order is taken into production by our factory.
INSPECTION & FINAL PACKING
We fully insure that only quality merchandise is packed after inspection by our personnel. We always maintain high quality standards. All wooden handicrafts are made from seasoned wood while metal handicrafts are made using high quality of the metal. As all products exported by us are handmade, so there is bound to be slight variation in dimensions, weight and finish of the products which is nominal. It is in fact the beauty of handmade products as they don’t come out from a machine and are unique. Hence, this can’t be accepted as a point for sub-standard quality. We keep our customers well informed through sending E-mails and pictures on all the stages of order execution.
Packing is done properly in Inner boxes and Master Cartons of good quality to ensure safe transit of the goods. Any specific requirement from the customer in terms of inspection, laboratory test, legalization, fumigation, phyto-sanitary treatment, bar-codes, warning and caution stickers, recycle mark, trademarks, logos, tags, insurance charges etc. would be subject to charge and informed to customer accordingly.
SAMPLING
Generally we don’t collect Sampling Charges from existing customers but the Courier Charges have to be borne by the customers only. Besides this, New Customers have to pay for the Sampling Charges which we generally adjust against your final order / shipment by giving similar value discount on the shipment.
For samples other than our designs ( prototypes), customers have to pay the charges which we will inform upfront. Sampling would be started upon receiving the suggested sampling charges into our bank account.
DAMAGES AND CLAIMS
All shipments from ARTASHI INDIA are always great quality and we do everything to maintain the high quality of our handmade products. In a rare case if we get a notice for bad quality from our customer, we need to get the pictures and know the nature of problem with the goods. If the claim is found genuine, we make the refund or replace the products in our next shipment as settled amicably with the customer. This may be a rare case and we guarantee that you never regret buying from ARTASHI INDIA.
